Bittersweet Duo is a performing group based out of South Jersey, comprised of vocalists Anthony Wood and Michelle Parto. They recently had the opportunity to sing with Tony Orlando & Johnny Petillo in Vegas & Atlantic City and are working on projects with Talmadge Conway & Baby Blak for Wealthy Place Records.
Anthony Woods hails from Camden, NJ, with background in music that stems from childhood. His mother was a musical director and his father was a dancer. He decided to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in music.
Michelle Parto, originally from South Philadelphia, PA, also has strong family ties to music. Both of her parents were singers and her uncle was also a musician who had a studio in his basement. She has recorded with Frankie Avalon & Gladys Knight and did a lot of studio work for Tony Camilo, who produced for Gladys Knight, Freda Payne, and more.
Bittersweet Duo has opened for The Duprees, Jay and The Americans, McFadden & Whitehead, Tony Orlando, and The Butlers. They sang for 4 years for Governor Christie at all of the events in the Drumthwacket and continue to sing for the Union league In Philadelphia.
